Yet another Bohemian Carnival that I went to. This time though, as I have been to many of the previous ones maybe, I had kind of seen most of the acts and it was not as novel and as much fun as the first times and furthermore, the crowd was very different - a lot more of a marina-esque and drunk people that any other bohemian carnival I went to, but as usual they did a good entertaining show.
As I was walking back home today from work, saw many cop cars, motorcycles, vans going down market. Never saw such a huge deployment of police officers ever in SF. Knew something was going on. Walked down the street and saw there was a manifestation for anti prop 8. As I walking back home anyways, I joinned the march and marched till the castro and then back home. I hope that they change prop 8 !
