Marchand La Tisane.... (Medicinal Infusion Seller)
In the Central Market in Port Louis, we have a couple of 'Marchand La Tisane'. They sell all kind of herbs that are supposed to cure all kinds of ailments such as cellulite, eczema, pms, ulcers, gastro problems or herbs to better your being such weight loss herbs, etc.. Not too many of these sellers left.
Unfortunately a dying folkore... but most Mauritians do have some of these herbs that they grow in their yard to cure the most common ailments.
