Music on the Square in Antigua, Guatemala

Reached Antigua Guatemala today after taking about 6 buses from El Salvador. I decided to take the chicken buses rather than the tourist buses. As I was walking around the city to explore the new town, I saw this nice traditional musical performance on the main square of Antigua.

Stern Grove Concert - BajoFondo - Argentinian and Uruguayian music.

Went to Stern Grove Concert yesterday (http://www.sterngrove.org/08032008.html) with Levi and Greg to watch BajoFondo. The group plays a mixture of Argentinian and Uruguayian music. It was my second stern grove this year and it was as awesome as the first one (Rashid Taha). They really rocked the crowd. We could not find any good spots in the grass or on the hills, but we somehow managed to get in to the bullpen just in the front of the stage and experience it up close.. Was great !

The group's intro from SN website : Internationally acclaimed Bajofondo, a collective of Argentine and Uruguayan artists, defy easy definition, blending the drama and passion of tango music with diverse electronic genres ranging from house, trance and trip hop to dub, drum and bass, and more.
