Went to pravin's place in Hayward today and we decided to cook some divali sweets. We cooked 'Gato Patates' (sweet potato cakes), besan ladoo, gulab jamoon and barfi. Good solid 3 hours cooking and here's the result. Happy divali !!
Wnet to trader's Joe to do my groceries today and found this new interesting Indian thali meal to go. Rice and two veggie curry for $3.99. Wonder how it'll taste like. I'll know in 1/2 an hour ;)
Pravin and Bhavik, two other Mauritian friends in the bay area came to the city yesterday night to go to the Asian Massive concert. We met at my place and decided to have an Indian dinner.
