I've sublet my apt in San Francisco and decided trying to live in NY for the summer. I had a apt in Chelsea for June and a couple of days ago, I moved in to my new sublet in the middle of Chinatown. Great Apt with all amenities and tons of space for NYC and located in the middle of the hustle-bustle of NYC Chinatown and good roomates too, also working in startups. I took this picture this morning when I got out of my door.

Nothing beats a freshly made noodles in a great broth. I sat facing the kitchen and was amazed to see the chef make noodles from scratch starting from the dough and twisting and turning it till I had what I had in my bown :)

I was driving on Saturday evening to go to the East Bay, when I stumbled upon the Chinese New Year Parade on Market St. I parked and got a few shots before going to the East Bay. The Chinese New Year Parade of San Francisco is among the biggest in the non-asian world. It was a huge procession with lots of floats and participants. I was very impressed for the short time I got to enjoy it.

I was strolling in Chinatown in San Francisco this past week and they were having a pork delivery. Looks pretty gross and sad how these pigs are sliced sideways in two.

Tonight I had the hottest ever dish in my life - Chicken with Explosive Chili Peppers at the Z & Y Schezuan Chinese restaurant in San Francisco Chinatown. I think it had more peppers than chicken - very tasty though. I can't wait to try all the other hot schezuan specialities at Z & Y.
Rather than walking or biking to work, decided to catch the Marina express bus.. The closest stop to work is only one and 1/2 blocks away from my favorite hall in the wall dim sum place in chinatown. Hard to resist not having some dim sum..
I had 4 pieces as u see in the pic below..Shrimp and Chives, Chicken and Vegetable, Shark fin steamed dumplings and fried meat dumpling.
All that for $2.20!
The place is called House of Dimsum and is found close to Jackson st and Grant St. (http://www.yelp.com/biz/house-of-dim-sum-san-francisco ).
Gota love working close to Chinatown :)
