Global Smurf Day in NYC

Today was Global Smurf Day in NYC.. They wanted to break the Guiness Book of Records for the most number people dressed up as Smurfs in a single location. They were giving away smurf hats and pants and blue color to paint faces and all. It was fun, but loks like the NYCers need a bit of tips and advice in organizing funner events and par up to SanFranciscans funky events and fun crowd.

Majestic Lake Titicaca

Lake Titicaca is the largest Lake in South America and is shared between Peru and Bolivia. It is the highest navigable lake in the world at 3,812 m (12,500 ft) above sea level. Lake Titicaca is fed by rainfall and meltwater from glaciers on the sierras that abut the Altiplano. The lake has 41 islands among which many are inhabited and densely populated and also has floating artificial islands (Los Uros).

The origin of the name Titicaca is unknown. It has been translated as "Rock Puma ", allegedly because of its resemblance to the shape of a puma hunting a rabbit, combining words from the local languages Quechua and Aymara. But translated in Mauritian creole, TitiCaca means "Shit that smells"..

La Jolla, California

On my way back from Los Angeles to San Franciso, on Priscille's advice, I took the exit for La Jolla Beach and it was so worth it. Wonderful beaches, wild sea lions and numerous varieties of wild birds. It was among the most beautiful beaches and scenery I've been to in California.
