The Metropolitan Musuem of Arts - New York

One weekend I was in NY, Bank of America had the Musuem on Us deal where I could go in to any musuem in the city of NY for free.. well Bank of America paid for my entrance. I did 1/2 a day at the Met and had  glimpse of the art from the all the different cultures of the world. While I was there, I also got the chance to see the Alexander McQueen Exhibit, which was kind of spooky.. but very well designed exhibit !

Art on my wall - 'Fantasie' by Cristina Isabel Rivera

My apartment walls have been bare since I moved in to this place. But thanks to Christina, it's not bare anymore - it's now adorned with one of her original work of art - a huge 30x48 Acrylic on Canvas painting. The painting is called "Fantasie" and Cristina was inspired to paint that by Chopin's beautiful classical pieces. I love it. It adds so much color and mood to the room. THANK YOU SO MUCH CRISTINA !!

I also put up the my wood shelf with my Ganesha, Shiva Linga, Nandi and Buddha statues.
